The Library is not just a place to house books, but a social and intellectual hub of the school. We have silent spaces, quiet spaces, and social spaces.
Our mission is to provide equitable access for students and teachers to 21st Century Libraries staffed by 21st Century Librarians in order to create a culture of lifelong learners and a community of digital citizens.
Students have access to library materials for pleasure reading, and for support of curriculum studies and research. It is the goal of our library to teach students how to find, and evaluate, all library materials quickly and easily, so they always have the right source, for the right job. Additionally, library lessons, book talks and story times promote higher level thinking skills in story analysis, and the joy of reading, so our program can produce life-long learners and readers.
