Second Grade

Students explore the rich cultures of China and India, as well as their local community of Louisville in Social Studies this year.

Science exploration and research includes a focus on insects, weather, and force and motion.

Literacy experiences encompass a variety of genre, style and format. There is a fluidity between reading, writing, spelling and other subjects.

Our Math Expression program help students understand and show abstract concepts in a variety of concrete ways.

Field Trips and hands-on activities enrich the independent thinking, i.e., constructivist classroom.
