    ​Parents are a vital part of our school's success. Research shows a high correlation between parent involvement in their students education and their future achievements, both academic and social.
    Coal Creek has a wide variety of opportunities for parent involvement, from volunteering  in the classroom, library or cafeteria,  to serving on one of our volunteer committees such as crossing guards, staff appreciation, Walk to School, the GROWE foundation, technology; PTA,  District Parent Council (DPC)District Accountability Council (DAC), and many more. To volunteer you must also follow the appropriate Volunteer/Security protocols. Please review those procedures under theVolunteer drop down located on this website.
    Teachers communicate volunteer opportunities during Back to School Night so please make sure to attend this event otherwise contact your teacher directly to find out what opporunities might be available.
    Parents and visitors are welcome at Coal Creek but must follow the appropriate BVSD Security protocols that have been implemented.
    All guests must sign in at the Front Office. The Office Staff may ask for identification and the reason for your visit. Upon approval to enter the building, the visitor must wear a designated visitor's badge. The staff will unlock the door for your entry into the school. Upon leaving the school, visitors must sign out.
    Tours are given by appointment between the hours of 8:30AM - 10:30 AM or 12:30 PM - 2:00PM. Please contact the Registrar at 720.561.4507 to schedule a time. Visits into the classrooms are not allowed but common areas will be represented.
