Jog-a-thon

About Our Campaign

The Jog-A-Thon is back in a whole new way...and putting the "fun" in fundraiser!

Coal Creek's single biggest event and fundraiser of the year is back with a new look and feel! Featuring a running course and an all new obstacle course, it's going to be a fun filled morning of celebration and tradition at Coal Creek Elementary for students and families alike.

Why we run

Did you know that Colorado ranks 40th in the country for per pupil funding?! The funds raised through this event are a vital part of supporting the student learning experience at Coal Creek and provide access to academic tutors, reading support, field trip transportation and other instructional support. The goal this year is to raise $1 per school day per student which works out to $172 per student and our ultimate goal of $48,000.

What do the donations support?

$25 = all the funds needed to show a teacher we appreciate them for an entire year

$75 = one day of academic tutoring services during school

$250 = a school year's worth of classroom materials and supplies for one class

$500 = bus transportation for two field trips

$1,000 = a year's worth of funding for the library and music programs

Prizes for all
Because the kids want to know what they're working hard for, we have put some awesome fundraising goals in place!

50% of goal = extra recesses for all!

75% of goal = pizza and popsicle party for the whole school

100% of goal = Tape the Principal to the Wall Day! Every student gets to help tape Mr. VanI to a wall in the school
