Instrumental Music

Club Description

Fifth grade instrumental music students choose to study band or orchestral instruments in this beginner course. Proper playing technique is the foundation of this learning experience. Students will also focus on instrument maintenance, ensemble playing, and note reading skills. Additionally students will experience music from a variety of cultures and historical periods. Culminating performances are a meaningful component of this full year course.

All students are required to participate in instrumental music at Coal Creek. No alternative classes are available during this period. Please contact the principal if your child is in need of either a string, wind, or brass instrument in order to participate in the program.

IM will be held on Wednesdays from 1:30 - 2:10PM and Fridays 1:50-2:30PM. .
